2020, 2021: COVID-19

The Foundation coordinated with a local hospital in 2020 to provide support for medical staff responding to the pandemic within our community. This support coordinated with the hospital’s requested items of high-energy and high-protein snacks for medical staff, as well as soothing salves for frequently-washed hands. In addition, the Foundation donated $5,000 to the Maryland Food Bank in December of 2021 to provide for our neighbors’ needs as a result of pandemic inflation.

2019: Lunch Debt

The Foundation joined with a number of individuals in the Maryland area to eliminate school lunch debt for children in Frederick County as a holiday gift. A combined effort by many dedicated and kind-hearted people, we were fortunate enough to be in a position to contribute.
